Getting XL1
It starts in Discord, and that is deliberate.
A faucet you can reach with a URL is a faucet that gets drained by a script, and verifying a wallet does not prevent it: anyone can make a new wallet for nothing, so a signature proves control of a keypair, not that you are a different person from the last request.
A Discord account is not perfect either, but it has history and it has cost. So the bot issues the link and this page only explains it.
